I had a great time with this project. Have you ever tried arm knitting? Arm knitting involves using your arms in place of knitting needles. It was fun and his scarf literally took me an hour to make.
Arm Knitting – Infinity Scarf
I got my yarn at Hobby Lobby. It is by Yarn Bee and it says “super bulky” on the label. The color is Blossom and the cost is $7.99 per skein. I used a 40% off coupon for one of them so it made it a little cheaper. But really I did not care. I wanted to make my scarf either way.
Now I do know how to knit so that probably helped me a little bit but this is a beginner project. I did watch a video that I found on Pinterest (you can see it here) but if you type go to You Tube and search for Arm Knitting Infinity Scarf about a gazillion videos pop up to show you how to make this.
I tried to take a couple of photos while I was in “mid scarf” but it is hard when you have the yarn on your arms. You should try it sometime. This was the best I could do.
Actually the hardest part was keeping the cats away while I was working. They were really excited about this yarn. Especially Chloe.
She is looking…and looking…
And she goes for it!
So funny and yet really annoying when you are trying to keep stitches straight. LOL!
It ended up being about 5 1/2 feet long before I cast off and wove the edges but I wish I would have made it a tad smaller. I like it right up against my neck in these frigid temps and unless I wrap it 3 times around it is just too drafty. But I can wrap it the third time when I need to.
Here I am modeling the beautiful scarf.
And just because you probably haven’t seen enough of me here is one more.
I hope you like my scarf and will try one for yourself. I do love it and it was truly an easy peasy project. Thanks so much for stopping by. Please share this post if you liked it or if you know someone who will.
Also please feel free to follow my Facebook page, my Twitter page and my Pinterest page.

My girls finger knit. Long chains of yarn. I am trying to get them into arm knitting so they can make actual things like this. I enjoy loom knitting. As of today I can do a hat in one day and start another.

Hi Charity, I have never tried loom knitting. I need to get busy on that. I would love to make hats. I hope you get your girls to arm knit because they would probably love making a fun scarf for themselves! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hi Tanya. Thanks for stopping by. Chloe had a blast with the yarn as well as out other 3 kitties. LOL! We must not play with them enough. I hope you try the arm knitting soon. It really was easy especially if you already know how to knit. Thanks again!
