DIY Burlap Wedding Ideas

The more I research and look up wedding ideas the more I am drawn to all of the burlap.  I love it for home decor so why not use it at the wedding as well?  So today we are going to be looking at some DIY burlap wedding ideas.

DIY Burlap Wedding Ideas

I have searched to find some wonderful ideas that are perfect for DIY if you want to incorporate burlap into your wedding theme.  Burlap can be used for so many different things and it is an inexpensive fabric so using it for many things can save some money.  If you do a quick Google or Pinterest search you will find tons of ideas that may spark your imagination and you can come up with an original DIY burlap wedding idea.  But here are some that I loved!

FrugElegance

This burlap bag from FrugElegance is amazing for bridesmaids or guests if you are having a small wedding.  If you purchased or made smaller bags they could still include the monogram and have and be stuffed with a small wedding favor.  Super fun.  Be sure to head over to their site when you are done here and see the complete tutorial and other fun DIY wedding fun.

 

 The Mama’s Girl

Burlap roses are so nice if done correctly and this tutorial from The Mama’s Girl which includes a You Tube tutorial is awesome.  These would be pretty on mason jars as table decor or used on a burlap pillow for the ring bearer.

Dear Creatives

I love all of the burlap banners.  This one has chalkboard paint which makes it even better.  It is from Dear Creatives and also includes a tutorial.  If you did not want the Mr. and Mrs.  you could create one for the gift table, for the dessert table or a welcome sign.  So cute and rustic.  It makes a good statement.

Celebrations

How fun are these Mr. and Mrs. chair bows from Celebrations?  They would be extremely easy to make and so cheap but they look really nice.

Of course I had to share a mason jar idea.   Add some burlap and you have the perfect decor item.  I love the antique key and the table number and the hydrangea really tops it off.
