My Christmas dinner theme is Grinch this year. I created the hot cocoa bar to add to the festivities. I think it will be a popular place on a cold day. Welcome to day 7 of the 12 Days Of Christmas Blog Hop. Have you been checking out the other bloggers projects? I have and they are fantastic. I can’t wait to see the other hot cocoa bars they have come up with.

Creating A Hot Cocoa Bar
I am sure there are many ways to create a hot cocoa bar and many different things you can add to it. I wanted to keep mine simple. There aren’t a ton of us in my family so a small bar seemed appropriate for us.
I am sticking with the Grinch theme throughout my Christmas Day so I used some fun Grinch inspired decor on the bar. Check out my Grinch Gifts post to learn how to make your own. I also have a fun Grinch Word Search you can download and play. The Grinch theme has been a lot of fun this year.
I have included affiliate links for your convenience. You can ready my full disclosure here.
Materials I Used For My Hot Cocoa Ba
Glass Jars With Clasp Lids – I used three of them but if you add more “stuff” to your bar get more of these
Mugs for cocoa
All of the things for cocoa – Cocoa packets, candy canes, marshmallows, etc
Setting Up The Hot Cocoa Bar
- Add your ingredients to the different jars. Candy canes in one, marshmallows in one with a spoon, etc
- Add mugs/cups to your bar – I stacked 4 up but I have a couple more if needed
- Add some sparkle or decor – Jazz it up a bit with some garland, ornaments, greenery or whatever you like. I used my Grinch decor.
That is really all there is to it! Then sit back and enjoy with friends and/or family!
This was fun and easy to set up. Have fun with it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The grinchy centerpiece is just so much fun. I looks fun and cheerful. I know I would want someone to pour.
