Do you love adding pumpkin decor to your home during the fall season? I do and I try to add new pumpkin ideas all of the time. One of my favorite things is to look in Hobby Lobby or even Pottery Barn and different stores to see what is hot for pumpkins this year. Then I try to create a look based on something that I saw that inspired me.
It is fun to scour the thrift stores and dollar stores to find pumpkins that I can makeover and call my own. I have put together a group of pumpkin projects that I hope will inspire you as well.
Let’s get started!
Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins!
A group of pumpkin projects that will inspire you to find a sad pumpkin and make it over into something you love.
Thrift Store Pumpkins Makeover
Thrift stores usually have pumpkins of all sorts this time of year. This collection of foam, ceramic and glass pumpkins were fun to paint and makeover.
Fabulous DIY Fabric Pumpkins To Ease Into Fall
I made these as my "ease into fall" decor. I hate for summer to end so I made these with not-so-fall-fabrics to help get into the fall mindset and leave summer behind.
How To Give Your Glass Pumpkin A New Look
I love these glass pumpkins and finding ways to add paint and give them an entirely new look is a fun challenge. A faux patina was the look I was going for.
How To Transform Foam Pumpkins Into Pretty Fall Decor
I found these bright orange pumpkins from the thrift store. I am not sure but I think these are the kind you find at the dollar store as well. They are easy to paint and look one thousand times better!
Easy Fall Wooden Sign Using Silhouette Cameo and DecorArt
If you love your Cricut or Sihouette for creating home decor, this pumpkin project is right up your alley. Except for all of the weeding it was really fun and turned out great.
I hope I have given you a variety of projects. Most of them include paint but I did throw in a some fabric and a vinyl pumpkin as well.
As we move into fall these are easy decor ideas you can start now to have pumpkins to set out when the time comes.
Are you ready for summer to end? We don’t get too many warm months and I cherish every minute of them but…it will be here soon and I need to be ready to go.
Happy crafting and watch for those pumpkins…starting now!
